Fun Things to Do During Utah’s Fall Season

This is my favorite time of year! The smell of autumn, the crisp air, the crunch of leaves, as well as the vibrant colors have a way of soothing the soul.

Kids are back in school and life starts to get back into a routine. There is a little hint of holiday excitement, as we plan for the next couple of months.

American West Heritage Center

There are many fun things to do this time of year! One of my favorites is taking a day trip to Logan, Utah. We enjoy going to the American West Heritage Center. It has lots of old buildings to walk through as well as a pumpkin patch with fun little face cut-out picture boards.

The American West Heritage Center has a wonderful corn maze that challenges us each year. They also have fun games for the kids as well as the family. There is a small play area with slides down the side of a hill or the older kids and adults can try their luck at target practice with hatchets and BB guns. They have wagon rides, and for those that don’t mind a little scare, they have a Haunted Hollow. The animals are always fun to see and on a nippy evening, nothing is better than some hot chocolate to keep you warm.

Corn Mazes and Hee Haw Farms

Now if driving to Logan is a little too far, there are many other activities to do such as corn mazes around town and we also love Hee Haw Farms. Our family loves to take advantage of the cooler weather for bonfires, roasting hot dogs and eating s’mores. You may like to take hikes in the fresh air and enjoy this beautiful Earth like this little one. Whatever you love to do, get out and make plenty of memories and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and all of the fun Fall activities!
